RCIA Resources

There are a number of good resources on the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and for RCIA teams on the Internet. I will post several of them on the blog in the next few days:

A presentation on the catechumenate at the Annual Gathering of the North American Association for the Catechumenate at Rochester, Minnesota, July 24 – 27, 2003, by Jim Schellman, the Executive Director of the North American Forum on the Catechumenate
Webmaster Chris Sloan writes as an introduction to his Web site:
I am a Catechist from a Parish in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Southwark, England. Listed below are a series of Word and PDF documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations I have prepared for various topics that are covered during the course of the RCIA program. I have obtained much of the information and material from Roman Catholic sites on the Internet.
The instructional notes listed among the sub-pages are those that I have used in adult catechesis. The notes are not meant to be comprehensive, just a help in grasping the general points of Catholic faith.
